Fitzrovia

A former victorian mens loo
Located in the heart of Fitzrovia and 5 minutes walk from Oxford Street, this former Victorian toilet has been lovingly transformed into one of London’s top speciality coffee & brunch cafes. Built around 1890 and mothballed in the 1960s, the Attendant was dormant for more than fifty years. After two-years’ of planning and restoration, the original Doulton & Co porcelain urinals have become an inspired line with green seating to match the original Victorian floor tiles.
We pull our very own seasonal espresso blend direct from the Attendant Roastery through our shiny La Marzocco Linea GB5 as well as single-origin filters from around the world via V60 Drip or AeroPress.
We serve up our seasonal home-style breakfast, brunch, lunch menus daily until 4pm as well as granola and other treats direct from the Attendant Kitchen. We also sell beans and high-quality brewing equipment. We use organic unhomogenised Estate Dairy milk and The Rare Tea Co. loose leaf teas.
Unfortunately, we don’t take reservations as we find it fairest to operate on a first come first serve basis. Please just turn up and our friendly team of baristas will get you a coffee on the espresso bar whilst you wait for the next available table.
