Our Story

About Us
Attendant’s co-founders, Bosh and Ryan, are dedicated to creating meaningful experiences in the hospitality sector beyond those of the high street chains.
Our vision is simple: quality brunch cafés serving the best coffee and seasonal food underpinned by fresh local produce – all sustainable and ethically sourced.
Our previous experience of central London cafés showed how rarely the customer was the prime focus in the transaction. Attendant is built to create meaningful experiences for local communities by creating relationships with our customers, whilst providing them with valued service, quality products, and unique locations. That’s why each café is designed as a welcoming space in which diverse people are brought together and given a safe place to rest and repair to.
With our first site situated in a quirky disused Victorian toilet in Fitzrovia, we made it our mission as a company to create a unique experience from store to store. We strive to bring people out of their daily 9-5 grind; to create a safe place to take a moment, gather one’s thoughts, refuel and get right back to it.
Remaining true to our vision, Attendant provides a wholesome, produce-driven, seasonal menu that is fresh, fun and innovative. Our coffee is sourced and roasted with taste, quality and sustainability in mind. To further the sustainable coffee trade, we pay a higher price for our coffee based on its quality. Our skilful roasting releases the inherent flavour of the beans, honouring the hard work the farmers and growers put in at origin.
Since opening in 2013, the Attendant has developed into a coffee roastery, café and kitchen, with the intention of bringing permaculture to the UK café culture.
